I have finally figured out what I like the least about staying in one location for so long. You start to know people, a lot of people. The newspaper headlines start to be about people who are part of your life. When you are new to an city, those names involved in tragedies are just sad stories, not personal loses. This has been a tough month for my sons group of friends. A few weeks ago they lost a good friend in a horrible highway accident and just recently a friend lost his Dad.

Our family has also recenetly lost a member. My Uncle Louis passed away a few days ago.

Right now Karin is in Florence. She should have arrived sometime yesterday after a grueling 5 hour layover in Paris. (I hated the Paris airport. It made me sneeze)
